The short version: No intrusive cookies, and no cross-site tracking. Visits are counted anonymously. Buying a spot requires payment, so I keep your brand name, email, logo, and a payment reference — nothing more, and never your card details.

Who I am

Brand My Lap is run by Tharaka. I am the data controller for everything described here. You can contact me via email at hello@tharaka.digital.

What I collect when you buy a spot

Email address — to confirm your order and contact you if needed. This is never published.
Brand name, logo file and website — they are what gets published on the laptop lid/wallpaper/keyboard and on this page once paid.
A payment reference — the identifiers returned for your checkout. Card numbers never reach this site; they are handled securely by our payment processor.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use invasive tracking cookies. The total visitor count is securely handled via Supabase and anonymous session storage to prevent duplicate counting.

Who processes your data

Supabase — hosts the database and securely stores your uploaded logo files.
Payment Processor — processes payments securely.
Vercel — hosts the site.

I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for anything other than running this project.
